Derek has a hard time sleeping at night, he struggles with anxiety and noises bother him and raise his anxiety level. Derek would like a sound machine to use at night to help him sleep. He feels that being able to add in sounds that he finds soothing will help him sleep better.

Derek is a fun-loving, hardworking young man. He loves playing games and being outdoors. He is working hard to stay focused in class and continue to do well in school. He struggles with loud noises and becomes very anxious.

"Hi, Derek! I'm a big kid (43) and also struggle with anxiety and noises. I have what's called misophonia. That basically means that certain noises annoy the bejeebers out of me and cause my anxiety- like loud chewing, horns honking, pens clicking and gum snapping. So I understand how you feel. I hope you enjoy your noise machine! Keep up the good work in school!"
