One of Elijah’s main coping mechanisms is to listen to music. He had a music player in his previous residential facility, but this was not transferred to him upon coming to the foster home. Elijah would like this computer to serve two purposes: firstly, to be used as his main source of music, and secondly, to be a computer he can utilize when completing his schoolwork. These are both important to Elijah, and it would benefit him immensely to have access to his favorite songs to decompress, as well as the ability to complete school assignments efficiently.
Elijah is 17 years old and lives in OH
Elijah is a sweet boy who loves to listen to music and is doing his best to adjust to a new home. He likes to use music to cope with his memories and trauma. Elijah works hard and is focused on bettering his life. He has a hard time when his biological family is brought up. He is processing his trauma and emotions and beginning to open up about the experiences of his past.
