Shontae has a clear plan for her education! She's decided to go to college full-time so that she can graduate with her degree earlier. On the weekends, she does work a bit, but she still finds time to study. She's pretty busy, and she eats out often when she stays at school late. To help with her meals, she requested a food gift card. It's great to see her taking charge of her education and making sure she has the support she needs along the way.
Shontae is 23 years old and lives in VA
Shontae is an amazing young lady who is living in an Independent Living Apartment. Shontae aged out of foster care but, continued with the Foster Futures Program where she thrived. Shontae graduated high school and is currently working part time and attending community college. Shontae has not allowed her trauma and abuse stop her from seeing good in people. Shontae is studying to be a teacher and strives to be a role model for others.
