Elisha wishes to learn to read. A year's subscription to a comprehensive reading program will get him to read and help him feel like a normal kid. This will give him the opportunity to be consistent with reading practice and pick up his learning pace. He really just wants to do well in school and has struggled so much with reading.
Elisha is 11 years old and lives in NC
Elisha has been with the same foster family since entering care and hopes to stay with them until he can return home. He is a wonderful kid who is full of energy and is generally happy. However, Elisha does feel sad about his family because he loves and misses them very much. He is learning new skills to help him succeed in his daily life. Elisha enjoys being outdoors, playing, and spending time with friends.
