Miranda, aka MARS, is one of seven children striving to overcome adversity. Mars is very artistic and full of life with a style all her own. Mars is fun-loving and can light up a room quickly with her smile and sparkling personality. Mars is an old soul and enjoys record players, old-school record players, art, and nature. Mars is mindful of others and wants the best for them, while she puts herself on the back burner regarding her needs. Mars has been working hard to learn how to live life on her own following extensive physical, mental, and sexual abuse throughout most of her life from the adults that she is supposed to trust. Mars has never been accepted for who she is or who she wants to be and has found herself in situations in which she has been vulnerable. Mars is slowly beginning to understand that she is worthy of love, trust, relationship, and happiness. This wish will allow her to be able not only to have a coping skill that she has grown to use and love but also to spend hours enjoying one of the things she enjoys the most, nature, and the calming sounds and experiences where she can drift away into a place that she can find peace.
