A shopping trip for Amy's birthday

Posted Nov 17, 2023
Amy is a wonderful young girl who has been through a lot over the past year. She has been at four placements, and for some time, she ran away and was placed on the national missing child list. She is now at a shelter for teens and has a big birthday coming up! She will be having a big party, and she would like a gift card from Target to buy what she would like. All of her clothes were lost between running away and coming back into care. She would be so happy to pick out clothes to add her own style into her wardrobe.

Amy is 16 years old and lives in NC

Amy is a wonderful young girl who has been through a lot over the past year. She has been at several placements; for some time, she ran away and was placed on the national missing child list. She is now at a shelter for teens and is doing well. Many of her clothes and framed baby pictures were lost because of all the moves. Amy is looking forward to starting school in the fall and has enjoyed reading and watching TV with the other children in the youth shelter. She is shy but has enjoyed getting to know other kids her age.
