Focus on Youth, Inc.Kris was removed from his biological parents at the age of five and again at eleven years old. He is in the permanent custody of the state. He has severe ASD, and ambulatory, with 50 percent hearing loss in both ears. The loss of hearing and ASD diagnosis has been a barrier to his placement options due to his lack of communication skills. Kris is a delightfully sweet and humorous young man. He is currently non verbal but communicates in other ways such as sign language and physical movements. Kris has the kindest bright blue eyes and is interactive when he warms up to people. Once he is comfortable, he will engage in harmless ornery behavior causing him to laugh. He has such a pure heart and is a delight to everyone he meets!
Kris is currently placed in a residential care facility until his next birthday. He enjoys lounging on exercise mats in the common areas. Kris will be moving soon and was hoping for this for his last birthday. Unfortunately, since he didn't receive it for his last birthday, he is hoping to receive it for Christmas.
