Nova is an amazing individual who has suffered multiple traumatic events due to her system involvement. Yet, she still keeps moving forward and has shown that she can use her experiences to lead others in changing the child welfare system. Nova has talked about some aspects of her life when she was younger. One thing she disclosed was that she didn't get to eat out as a child due to money constraints.
