Melanie is incredibly artistic and has been able to create beautiful drawings as a form of self-expression with the bare minimum of supplies. We would love to surprise her with an art set that would allow her to explore different styles and further develop her skill. We're excited to see what she will create next!

Melanie is a very kind and soft-spoken teen. She has been through a lot of hardship at her young age, but she remains optimistic and open to support from the adults in her life. She is very artistic and carries a notebook and pencil with her wherever she goes. Art is how she expresses herself. The family Melanie is with now is very thankful that they get to continue learning more about her and supporting her.
