After a life of moving from group home to group home, Diavian finally got to move into an apartment on her own! She's been saving for years to make this happen but with current rent prices, and having to pay first, last and deposit, she doesn't have the resources to furnish her place and make it feel like a home. Diavian would like to be able to, for the first time in her life, chose how her own space looks and getting the basics to sleep comfortably, cook food and stay cozy during the winter months. Shopping for household items for her new place would be a true dream come true for Diavian!
Diavian is 23 years old and lives in MA
Diavian is a sweet young woman that after years of living in group homes and inconsistent housing arrangements, just got to move into a place by herself for the first time! She adores kids and has been working as a nanny since turning 18, saving towards her goal of living independently. During her free time, Diavian likes to learn how to do make-up, and enjoys trying new foods. She describes herself as shy, but likes to be around caring people and build community.
