Emily has experienced homelessness with nothing that resembled a normal childhood. Her foster parents have succeeded in making her life as normal as possible and building her self-esteem. She sees other children in the neighborhood riding their bikes, and she would like one for Christmas!
Emily is 5 years old and lives in NC
Emily is a very smart little girl who is interested in learning about everything. She is at the stage where everything is “WHY.” Emily started kindergarten this year and absolutely loves going to school! She loves to play Hide & Seek with whoever is in the room. She giggles constantly. Her foster family already has a strong emotional bond with her and takes her on family trips with their own daughter. Her foster mother says that as long as she has paper and crayons she is at her happiest!
