A scooter for Catalina so she can get to school and work

In order to navigate the city environment where she lives, Catalina used to have a scooter, which she relied upon on to get to school, work and any appointments. Unfortunately, Catalina’s scooter was stolen while she was at a medical appointment a few weeks ago, and she finds herself without a means of transportation anymore. Catalina would be incredibly appreciative to receive a new scooter, as transportation without one is a hardship for her.
Catalina is 20 years old and lives in NJ
Catalina is an exceptional young woman who immigrated to the US two years ago, without any English speaking abilities. Catalina came to the US with dreams of attending school and earning money to send to her parents in Honduras. Shortly after her arrival, Catalina was sexually assaulted and placed into foster care, without any family support here in the US. Despite the trauma she endured, this conscientious, hardworking young lady has earned enough high school credits to graduate next June, all while working part time and attending a weekend program where she is learning English.
