Receiving a brand new pair of Jordan Air 3 shoes would bring Malik great happiness. After the Christmas break, he eagerly anticipates wearing them to school and proudly sharing with his friends that he bought them himself. Malik takes pride in keeping his new shoes clean. The sheer joy he experiences when wearing these shoes to school is evident, making them more than just footwear but a source of genuine happiness for Malik.
Malik is 17 years old and lives in TX
Malik has been in care since he was 8 years old. He likes playing sports and video games, and enjoys watching cars shows on TV. He was left at school by his mom and was never picked up, introducing CPS to this child's life. The child has been moved through 15 different foster homes and spent time in 13 different psychiatric hospitals to support his behavior disorder. Most of the time these behaviors happen at school because school is a trigger for him, but we have been working on his transitioning with his aides.
