Arif recently came to the US. He has been here for a couple of months now and doesn't have that much clothing. He wants new shoes to be able to mix and match styles and express himself a bit more through what he wears.

Arif is from Mauritania.This young man is very smart and very ambitious. He wants to help his brother come to the U.S. and help him get a better life than the one they had in their home country. He also wants to eventually, after completing his education and going through all the necessary steps to become more independent, become a civil engineer.
