Jay and his sister live in different resource homes, but they get to have visits every Thursday after school. They absolutely love spending time together at Applebee's, munching on some delicious boneless wings. Jay is hoping to surprise his sister with an early dinner at Applebee's soon.
Jay is 13 years old and lives in NJ
Jelani, or Jay, is currently living in a foster home and is not able to live with his biological siblings. Jelani has been working very hard with his service providers to be able to manage his emotions. Jelani regularly contacts his biological family and thinks about them. Jelani loves to read and aspires to become a journalist when he grows up. Jelani has many friends in school, is a member of the choir, and takes on leadership roles whenever possible.
