Genevieve is passionate about art. She has not responded well to traditional talk therapy and expresses herself through her creativity. Genevieve has been having fun making bows and wreaths out of satin ribbon. While she has struggled with instability in the system, one thing that has remained a constant is her passion for creativity and design. This ribbon can help her express herself and help her retain some sense of normalcy.
Genevieve is 15 years old and lives in CA
Genevieve and her sister were removed from the care of their mother and placed in foster care. Genevieve, who is struggling to navigate the instability of the system, is upset with her mother but also wishes to be reunited with her mother. Sadly, Genevieve is struggling with school and is working hard to navigate the ups and downs that she feels daily. She is struggling educationally and emotionally and does not thrive in traditional therapy, art is the way she prefers to process her emotions.
