Marla and her hardworking mom are currently living in a hotel as they search for a permanent home. Marla's mom works multiple jobs to pay the weekly hotel fee. Although Marla has faced the tragic loss of her father several years ago, she remains strong with the support of her mom. Despite the challenges they face, Marla's mom is a dedicated and caring parent who not only takes care of Marla but also her older sister, nephew, and niece. For Valentine's Day, Marla would like a gift card to Cracker Barrel restaurant so she can take her mother out and remind her of the happier times.
