Gaia recently got housing after living in a shelter for many months and is now pursuing her GED. Gaia left high school due to housing instability and needing to support herself, but she is extremely committed to finishing her high school education! As an incredibly self-motivated young person, she is currently interning in an animal welfare career readiness program where she is working at an animal hospital, all while completing a virtual GED program. Gaia has been doing the GED program on her phone because she does not have a computer. She is running into trouble now because she can't download documents or complete assignments to her fullest capacity without a computer. She wishes for an iPad so she can better complete assignments and it's easy to carry when she's on the go. This will allow Gaia to effectively complete her schoolwork wherever she is. Gaia will continue to use her iPad as she pursues college after completing her GED program. As her interest in working with animals grows, Gaia hopes to pursue veterinary medicine! Let's help Gaia get an iPad to help her complete her GED and live out her postsecondary goals and dreams!
