Jayden is getting ready to run Track this spring. Last year was the first year he went out for the team in middle school, and he loved it. He found that he likes the long-distance better than the sprints. He runs the 1600 and the 800 and hopes to beat his record from last year. A good pair of track shoes will help him reach his goals.
Jayden is 14 years old and lives in NJ
Jayden has been an outgoing adolescent in foster care for a couple of years. Despite the challenges of being in care and not having much contact with his biological family, he is surprisingly upbeat. He loves life and always wants to everyone to smile. His teachers at school describe him not just as a pleasure to have in class, but they say he will probably be the next mayor of town. He will talk to anyone and make friends quickly. He ran for class president last year but came up a few votes short. He is a straight-A student, and his favorite subject is Language Arts.
