This winter has been hard on Shauntay - she is balancing so much with having lost her job, single parenting, and endless apartment issues. She barely has time to sleep, let alone shower, and has no money to buy herself hygiene supplies that make her feel good. These supplies would allow her to get back into a self-care routine and at least have her waking hours feeling confident and fresh.
Shauntay is 28 years old and lives in NY
Shauntay is an incredible young woman who works and is raising three amazing children. During her childhood she experienced significant hardship at home with her family of origin, which resulted in her eventual placement in the foster system. She has since aged out and is devoted to ensuring her own children experience stability in a way she did not experience.
