Faith is moving into a new apartment that will provide more space for her two children and is also more affordable. Faith was injured on her full-time job in November 2023 and has had a significant decrease in income to provide for her family. She needs help with the initial fees to secure this new housing opportunity.
Faith Kanu is 29 years old and lives in VA
Faith is a single mother of two young boys ages 4 and 2. She is a survivor of the foster care system and has been working hard to make a better life for herself and children. Faith has minimal family or supportive networks especially after the loss of her adoptive mother 2 years ago due to domestic violence. This tragic incident resulted in the death of her adoptive mother who was her biggest source of support, as well as her adoptive father who was the perpetrator in this tragedy.
