Each year, One Simple Wish aims to provide over $100,000 in scholarships to those aged out of foster care. Our unique approach has no age limit and allows applicants to apply for a scholarship supporting their unique educational path - whether it be 2-year, 4-year, trade, or tech school. This very flexible approach allows so many more individuals to pursue higher education in a way that is most meaningful to them. Your gift helps us fund this essential program! An Inspiring Young Person is 18 years old and lives in NJ
Only 3% of former foster youth attend and graduate from college each year. These individuals have incredible aspirations and drive, and with the support of this amazing community, we can help reduce a few of the financial barriers standing in the way.
