Volleyball/Badminton for Franklin to have healthy competition with his foster family

Posted Mar 18, 2024
Franklin loves to play games, but currently, the family does not have many outdoor options to get him active. This Volleyball/Badminton combo set is a perfect way to not only get Franklin outdoors but will allow him to spend quality time with his foster family. He is excited about the bonding and spending more time with each everyone. These types of activities with people who care about him are what Franklin craves and needs. He is able to let his guard down, laugh, and just be himself when he's playing.

Franklin is 11 years old and lives in MO

Franklin has had a rough start in life but that has not stopped him from being the sweetest and most generous child he can be. He loves to give hugs and be a helping hand whenever he can! Franklin has the most amazing singing voice and his caregivers love to listen to him sing. Franklin struggles with autism and works with his team to find ways to keep triggers low and behaviors within his control. Franklin uses playing as a tool to get some of his energy out which helps keep things from being too overwhelming or over-stimulating. He plays basketball and video games. Franklin is also an avid Pokemon card and stuffed animal collector!

"The family brought Franklin in to pick up his wish and he was beyond thankful. He discussed all the things he was going to do, how they would play as a family, and how he would teach his foster sister how to play. It was amazing to see how a simple little thing would bring some much happiness to one kiddo. His foster parents were so grateful to see how excited he was and so happy for him! "
