Harmony struggles with communication. She has a very introverted spirit and has been trying to overcome her fears of opening up to the world. She may be young, but she is wise for her age. She is learning how to handle technology and learning a lot from her big sister. Because of her autism, her caregiver has always felt that it was important that she know how to use and take care of a phone. Her big sister has been teaching her how to be responsible and the right ways to communicate. She also enjoys acting on TikTok with her sister and is excited to get a phone and be able to record herself. Her caregiver says, "Making those videos has brought this girl to a whole different level of confidence," and it's exciting to think of what she can do if she has her own phone. Granting this wish will give her a simple phone to communicate with her friends, family, and big sister.
Harmony is 7 years old and lives in MO
Harmony is a sweet girl who doesn't let her autism slow her down! She's got a sassy side whenever anyone tries to hold her back from something she knows she can do! She is slightly introverted and not very social, but her actions have always been louder than her words. She does well in school, and despite being the target of relentless bullying, she continues to excel in her classes. Harmony is working on being more social and has started to try to expand her circle of who she trusts, she's started to try to make more friends and hoping to branch out little by little to overcome some of her need to recluse. Harmony adores her big sister. She learns from her and looks up to her. She has been learning all her best dance moves from her sister and never laughs as much as she does when she's creating TikTok videos with her sister.
