Trae is non-verbal but expresses himself in other ways. One of his favorite things to do at night when winding down and getting ready for bed, is to flip through his photo album and point to people he knows (his family) and his art projects from school. His resource parent takes pictures of his projects then adds them to his album. Trae needs a photo album to continue to create lasting memories and it is a behavioral tool as it calms him when he's agitated.
