Eve has been doing so well since moving into Independent Living. One thing she's been really excited about is her improving cooking skills! Even though she loves trying new recipes, schoolwork, and her part-time job keep her pretty busy. That's why a programmable crockpot would be a fantastic addition to her kitchen. It would make it easy for her to cook up delicious and healthy meals even when she's on the go!
Eve is 17 years old and lives in PA
Eve is so incredibly courageous and resilient. Eve entered foster care and eventually moved from her foster home to an apartment in her local Independent Living Program after her foster family, whom she had been with for most of her placement, moved out of state. Before entering care, Eve showed bravery in taking the steps to remove herself and her 12 siblings from an unhealthy and unsafe situation. Her courage continues to be evident as she learns to navigate the world independently. Despite the trauma she experienced, she has shown so much maturity and growth and aspires to go to college and pursue a career in ASL/interpreting.
