After exiting foster care, Destiny began living in a distant family member's garage. During the recent rainstorms in southern California, the garage flooded, taking with it all of her belongings. With perfect timing, she was accepted into a transitional living facility. Though this housing situation is a bit more stable, she has a bedroom with no furniture including the basics of a bed or dresser. Destiny is currently sleeping on the floor of her bedroom. She has no bed and nowhere to store her belonging. Having this wish granted would mean the world to Destiny. It would not only mean having a furnished bedroom, but also a place she can wholeheartedly call her home and safe haven.
