Violet will be a vendor at the upcoming May Foster Youth Flea Market and is in need of candle wax, and soap. She is super excited because she has been starting to grow and expand her business through e-commerce and this will be her first tabling event in a few months!
Violet is 29 years old and lives in CA
Violet was in the system from 15 to 18 and didn't receive services after she was emancipated, so she decided to take matters into her own hands and put herself back in school to get her diploma. But she didn't stop there! Violet continued to fight for her education and graduated with her Bachelor's degree from CSULB. While at CSULB, Violet did work-study with the Guardian Scholars and loved giving back to the foster youth community. She is hoping to find a career where she is able to work with at-risk youth. Violet is also a small business owner and creates her own handmade moon phase intention-based candles and other goodies. She dreams of going to graduate school for post-secondary education so she can work with Guardian Scholars programs in Community Colleges.
