Shamar is set to move into his new place on May 15th and he couldn't be more excited! This wish will help him secure some of the items he will need to start making his new place feel like home!
Shamar is 22 years old and lives in NJ
Shamar is a vibrant young adult who entered a Transitional Living Program due to being at risk of homelessness after being placed outside of the home as a youth. Shamar is the quintessential 'glass half full' personality & has never let his circumstances or setbacks slow him down. He brings joy to everyone around him & is known for his effortless ability to make others laugh. Shamar's motivation for self-improvement is one of the personal qualities that distinguishes himself from his peers, in addition to his selflessness & kindness toward all he meets. Shamar is working toward completing his goals of saving money from his 2 jobs, while attending community college & transitioning to an apartment of his own.
