An air conditioner for Jay so he stays cool this summer at his new placement

Jay has experienced multiple placements in foster care throughout his life, having been removed from his biological parents on three separate occasions and residing in 15 different resource homes. In 2022, he reconnected with his grandparents, and they have been meeting monthly to rebuild their relationship. Jay is set to move in with his grandparents this summer, and the entire family is eagerly anticipating it. However, Jay's new bedroom, located on the second floor, becomes excessively hot during the summer. He has requested an air conditioner for his room to make the transition more comfortable for him when he comes home at the end of the day.
Jay is 13 years old and lives in NJ
Jelani, or Jay, is currently living in a foster home and is not able to live with his biological siblings. Jelani has been working very hard with his service providers to be able to manage his emotions. Jelani regularly contacts his biological family and thinks about them. Jelani loves to read and aspires to become a journalist when he grows up. Jelani has many friends in school, is a member of the choir, and takes on leadership roles whenever possible.
