Miracle loves to use music to cope with some of the tough feelings that come with being in foster care. She also enjoys listening to music at night to help her fall asleep. It can be hard for her to fall asleep when playing music on the television due to the light from the screen and distracting videos. She would love to have a way to listen to music that won't negatively impact her sleep.
James is 13 years old and lives in OH
James is a super sweet person who is working so hard to improve himself despite his struggles due to being in care. He can no longer return home to his family but is hopeful of finding an adoptive home that will match him well. James was previously transgender but has since begun to question his gender identity more. He is working to explore both his masculine and feminine side and find how they all fit together to make him. He is looking forward to starting basketball this school year and his new school and making new friends at the recreation center. He is facing all the upheaval and craziness that comes with foster care by viewing these changes as a fresh start for him to continue to progress in managing his behaviors and getting to know his true self.
