Jaymi has never owned a pair of shoes that cost more than $30. Jaymi has spent so much of her life caring for others and putting their needs first. She's never been able to justify spending a good amount of money on herself for shoes that are durable and will last her a long time to come. She's been dreaming of getting a good pair of Doc Martens of her very own. Jaymi would be ecstatic to receive these shoes. Granting this wish will show Jaymi that her needs and desires are as important as everyone else's and that she is loved.

Jaymi is a former foster turned loving, compassionate parent. Jaymi has often taken on big responsibilities and tried tasks when no one else could or would. Even in her younger years, she took on the task of raising her teen sibling through legal guardianship - a task she did not quite know would be in her cards but took on without question. She has gone on to be a foster and adoptive parent of other teens. Jaymi is a proud graduate with a master's degree. After a long time, Jaymi has finally found joy and healing in her life by surrounding herself with a new community after "coming out."
