Bety came to the United States to work and provide for her family back home. She is working hard to learn how to read, write, and speak English. She does not have any family nearby and often finds herself stuck in her schoolwork. One of her favorite hobbies is styling her hair and doing her makeup. She would like to enroll in a cosmetology course one day, but as of now, since she is too young to do so, we thought that a hair mannequin and cosmetology products would help her advance her skills.

Bety is in need of new sneakers to wear over the summer. She is enrolling in the gym and at a local Boys and Girls Club and will need new, comfortable sneakers to help her get around.
