She really wants to be able to express herself and look presentable for job interviews to boost her confidence. Maria is a funny, intelligent, independent young woman originally from Guatemala. When she first arrived in the United States over three years ago, she did not speak any English. Now she can communicate well with others, is doing great in school, and has begun a new job at a restaurant! Maria dreams of being a nurse one day. She loves hanging out with friends, watching movies, and making cookies!
