Demetrius was hired as a summer camp counselor for the YMCA. When he found out he had the job, he was super happy. Demetrius wants to work so that he can save his money to purchase a car next year. Demetrius was also selected to participate in a summer basketball youth league. He recently asked for a new pair of basketball shoes and was given a pair of used shoes. Demetrius accepted the shoes because he didn't want to make the person who gave the shoes to him feel bad. A new pair of shoes for Demetrius would really boost his spirit and confidence.
