Karson recently moved to a new area and he is adjusting to his new surroundings. He used to love playing basketball with his siblings, but since being sheltered and split up, he hasn't been able to play. However, he has been assigned a new mentor who is very active and loves basketball. His mentor is looking forward to taking Karson out to the courts to teach him new techniques. Karson needs new basketball sneakers to play. His friends at school have Air Jordan shoes, and he has always been jealous that they get to play basketball in gym class with them while he wears his worn-out Skechers. He has wanted a pair of Air Jordan shoes for a long time and hopes to own a pair of his own one day.
