Sydney needs a mini fridge for her college dorm at IU Bloomington. Because she participated in the summer bridge program, she didn't have extra funds to buy the fridge before moving to campus this month. As an incoming freshman, Sydney would greatly benefit from having a mini fridge in her dorm so she can keep snacks on hand.

Sydney is a young woman who is excited for what the future brings. She is a reserved and resilient young woman who is attending college as a freshman in the fall. Sydney enjoys reading books, coffee, and shopping. She has a great appreciation for coffee since she worked at Starbucks during her high school years. Sydney is smart, kind, and intrinsically motivated. As a young woman of color, she has overcome many obstacles since being in the foster care system.
