Danny has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and is working with his physical therapist and foster mother to strengthen his trunk muscles. This involves a lot of floor play because his muscle tightness makes him prefer lying on his back, but he is working hard to improve his trunk muscle control with the goal of being able to army crawl for independent mobility. Using sensory tiles during floor play would make it more interesting for him and allow his foster brother to join in, helping them to bond while Danny is not in his assisted chair.

Danny is a happy, fun little boy that loves making others laugh! Danny has cerebral palsy, which affects his ability to move around and his muscle use. Although he has this disorder, he does not let it get the best of him. He makes the most of it and is very positive and happy!
