Maddy is a determined young mother of two energetic and loving children. Despite the challenges she has faced in her life, she continues to work hard to create a stable and positive future for her family. Maddy was placed for adoption shortly after birth and was adopted by her foster parents. Growing up, she often struggled with questions about her identity and is still learning more about her birth family and heritage. These experiences have shaped her into a thoughtful and creative person who uses writing as a way to process her life experiences. She has written and self-published several books of poetry on Amazon that reflect on her childhood and personal journey. Maddy is currently enrolled in college and is working on writing her first romance novel. She recently began working from home as a call representative while continuing to pursue her education and care for her children. Although Maddy experiences social anxiety, she continues to push herself forward and pursue her goals. Writing, learning, and caring for her children give her purpose and motivation as she builds a better future for her family.

Maddy's heart ached as she reminisced about the planned getaway with her closest friends. The excitement of visiting Puerto Rico and spending quality time together now felt like a distant dream. They had found a perfect vacation home rental that seemed so affordable for everyone. It was supposed to be an opportunity for them to unwind and de-stress, something Maddy had never experienced before. Sadly, circumstances took an unexpected turn, and the trip was no longer possible. Despite the disappointment, Maddy found inspiration in the memories of planning the trip. She realized the importance of cherishing moments and the value of spending quality time with loved ones. This experience encouraged her to seek new opportunities to create meaningful connections and embrace every chance to make lasting memories with those she holds dear.
