She is asking for help to purchase these items so she can properly care for her baby once he is born. It is important to her because many of her family members do not have the necessary items to care for their babies, and she wants to be different. She does not want her baby to go without anything because she is unable to provide it. She is feeling nervous about being a mom and would like to have the essentials so she can be prepared to give her baby the best care possible.

Alante is an outgoing, goofy young lady who is intelligent, strong, and resilient, and always up for anything. She is the life of the party. Alante was in foster care from age 5-18. She is currently experiencing homelessness.
