Bedding set for Shayla to make her space her own

Shayla doesn’t like to ask for things for herself. She prefers to put her kids first. She is an amazing mom! Her advocate noticed that while her kids have really nice bedding, Shayla is using a hand me down, very thin and used comforter and pillows. When asked Shayla said she just can’t afford something nice for herself. When prompted she shared she would love a bedding set like this to make her space feel like a retreat!
Shayla is 21 years old and lives in PA
Shayla recently aged out of foster care. After several years and homes she chose to not be adopted. She is the mom of two amazing kiddos! Even though Shayla was in foster care due to circumstances outside of her control, her children have been out of the system due to her hard work. She puts her children first and chose to complete her GED early so she could begin working. She’s one of the hardest working young women we have ever met!
