Amir has admired his friend's pair of Birkenstocks all summer. He thinks they look amazing and would love to have a pair of his own. He loves that you can slide them on or off easily, and they are fashionable. Amir says he will fit right in when he heads back to school with a pair of shoes like this.
Amir is 14 years old and lives in PA
Amir is an amazing kid! He works hard in school. He and his brothers have been in care for a while now. They have bounced back and forth between kinship placements and reunification attempts. At this point, the boys have moved in with a non-relative but adoptive family. They are enjoying being regular kids. Amir loves to walk to the local playground and play basketball with neighborhood friends
