Macie's autism makes her much more sensitive to the types of clothing (how they fit, their tags, etc) she wears. Additionally, after recently getting some allergy and sensitivity testing back, the foster family found out she is allergic/sensitive to many of the dyes and makeup of many clothing materials. Thus, there are now only a few brands of clothes that can be purchased for her. It is essential for her day-to-day, so they have been able to change out some clothes for her, but really only have the essentials. (but toddlers are messy and go through clothes faster than adults).
