Lewis has had a very difficult time lately. He was kicked out of extended foster care in May, and it has been hard for him to get back into the program because it requires an approved home study, and at that point, he was homeless. After moving to stay with a friend for a month, the friend was unwilling to let Lewis stay with them. He then went to stay with his aunt, who was living in a motel. He had started working a job but was waiting for his first paycheck to arrive. The aunt then informed him that she was moving in with her boyfriend, and he would have to find somewhere else to stay. He was placed on multiple waitlists at homeless shelters and, in the meantime, continued to go to work and sleep at a nearby park. A relative offered him a spot in her apartment three hours away. He moved to the apartment and has been staying with her and her children. He is currently looking for employment and doesn't have many clothing items or shoes due to the many moves over the past few months. He would really like a pair of Nike shoes to brighten his day and wear to his new job once hired. He will definitely look and feel his best in these super cool shoes!
