Zaiden was given free backpacks last year at a back-to-school event. Most of the backpacks broke within the first few weeks of school. Zaiden has been asking for a particular backpack since last year. However, due to Zaiden's mother losing her job and Zaiden's sister being hospitalized, she's been unable to purchase the backpack. The foster parent has not made this wish come true either. Zaiden wants a backpack that will not break and last him a long time.
Zaiden is 8 years old and lives in NY
Zaiden is an awesome boy who has been in foster care since he was 8 months old. Last week, Zaiden finally received the wish of his life by being returned home to his mother. Foster care took a tough toll on Zaiden which affected his overall functioning. Being removed from his mother at 8 months old was one of the hardest moments for Zaiden and his mother who was a teenager at the time. His life has turned around and his mother has been committed to his health, education, and growth. Zaiden loves watching YouTube shorts and playing video games. He is very interactive and curious about the world around him, often asking questions about how buildings are built and why the school was invented. Zaiden enjoys playing outside and going to the movies with his family.
