Since Lydia only did a few months of kindergarten when she was placed in foster care she is repeating the grade this coming fall. Lydia is actually super excited as she formed a strong bond with her teacher and is excited to be in her class again! She would love a new pair of shoes to wear in the first day! We know she will be so excited to open up these as they sparkle just like her!
Lydia is 7 years old and lives in PA
Lydia is a sweet girl who has basically been in charge of keeping her brothers safe since she was tiny! She mothers them and make sure they have what they need. Since coming into foster care Lydia has been given a chance to be a kid! She loves to draw and pant and even got to try out dance this summer. Due to the abuse in her first home she does have some delays but with therapy and extra help the people in her life are working to help her overcome those things.
