Christyona is an awesome young lady placed in foster care without her older sibling. Christyona loves school. She misses her older sibling but has not allowed her disappointments to make her unfocused on her goal of becoming a doctor. Christyona loves to play softball, bake homemade cookies, make tie-dyed shirts, and write songs. She loves animals and has a pet hamster.

Christyona will be entering 8th grade next month and will be starting a new school, which makes her a bit nervous. She tried out for the cheerleading team and was thrilled to receive the message that she had made it. She's now looking for new school clothes and hair accessories and has asked for a new pair of school shoes. Purchasing the shoes for Christyona would be a tremendous help for her foster family.
