Kylie and her sister entered foster care after losing their father to suicide and enduring physical abuse, emotional abuse, and neglect by their mother. They were eventually placed with their paternal uncle. She and her sister went on to be the first in their family to graduate from both high school and college. Kylie went on to work in the social services field, helping others be safe and successful. Kylie's 9-year-old daughter was killed in 2019 in an egregious event, and she has one surviving daughter. Kylie loves art and nature as healing modalities in her grief.

"I appreciate your solidarity, not charity. Redistributing wealth to in order for others to have things that are either essential or recreational benefits humanity at large and is rare in our individualistic and capitalist society. Thank you for evolving beyond the scarcity mindset and thank you for assisting my artist endeavors. "
