Cayden has been raised by his grandmother, who is no longer able to take care of him. He has not adjusted well to being placed in foster homes and is currently in an Emergency Shelter for youth. He seems to be doing well in this structured environment and enjoys the time that he can spend in the gym playing basketball with other youth and staff members. He has one brother. Unfortunately, due to his brother’s diagnosis and needing more attention, Cayden did not get the guidance and supervision that he needed while growing up. Cayden enjoys playing basketball and other sports. He considers this as a way to cope with the stress of being in foster care or a residential facility. Cayden focuses on his physical fitness and being healthy to help him reach his future goals.
