Jri is becoming overstimulated at school and sometimes at home after a difficult day around other children and starting a new school in a new town. Jri feels that sensory toys will help him hold on to these objects, lowering his anxiety of becoming overstimulated and helping stabilize his spot in school and in his placement.
Jri is 8 years old and lives in OK
Jri has been in DHS custody for several years. He is placed with a relative who is considering guardianship, and they are a non-paid placement. Jri has special needs and lacks motor skills and occupational needs. Even though he has special needs, he is a very lovable young man with a great personality. He likes sensory toys that are therapeutic to his needs. He loves being outdoors and is very active.
